It seems as though ruffles and frills are the trend for 2015!
We are received so many enquries for our Latte Frills design and also our Silver Frills design (main featured image) which we have now made with various adaptations.
The ruffles (or frills) are made out of individual rose petals and thus incredibly time consuming but the overall effect is one of exquisite beauty. Very delicate, very soft and so effective in creating that wow factor wedding cake.
The main featured image is of a wedding cake we made for Jessica and George just last week for their wedding at Quendon Hall in Essex. The silver leaf compliments the frills beautifully and also gives a very striking effect.
As you can see, frills can also work so well in many many designs – such as the 7 tier gold and white cake featured for the wedding of Claire and Leo at Hatfield House in March.
