Cooling Castle Barn is a venue we know well, having created and delivered wedding cakes there on a number of occasions over the years.
A wedding cake needs to work within its surroundings, and the character of a barn venue can provide a wonderful backdrop for both traditional and contemporary cake designs.
This particular all-white design created a beautiful contrast against the exposed brick and timber of the barn, while the oversized bow gave the cake enough detail to make it a real feature of the room.
It is also a great example of how a relatively simple three-tier cake can still have plenty of presence in a wedding venue.
