Wedding Cakes at Syon House with Lucy Meehan Events

When you get to work at the incredible Syon House with Lucy Meehan Events. A real life Bridgerton wedding!

What a treat it was last summer to not only work with Lucy Meehan Events, but also to work at the incredible Syon House in London - the setting used for the iconic Bridgerton Wedding.

And, most importantly, to get to design and create the most epic wedding cake for the loveliest family. What a pleasure it was to work for Charlotte and Jack and Charlottes family. To be honest, we liaised mostly with Olly, Charlottes dad - as he was paying for the cake!

The base of the cake comprised approx 120 hand crafted sugar roses, then we have the the recess of roses and the top posey. So, a total of just under 200 hand crafted sugar roses. Days and days of work..

You can also see here how we replicated the couples wedding monogram in icing. This monogram was used for throughout all of their stationary so it was a perfect enhancement as a focal point on their wedding cake
