Hall of Cakes specialise in Victorian wedding cakes. Wedding cakes that are splendid in every way and which boast the most incredible amount of detail.
When Hall of Cakes was set up (by myself, Nicola Hall) it was with a view to doing something quite special. We do of course make wedding cakes of all shapes and sizes but when we set out we really wanted do something unique.
Instead of finding every modern way to cut corners we went back to the traditional methods of sugar craft and flower making – very time consuming (to say the least!) but incredibly beautiful and I am now proud to say we have become renowned throughout the UK as the leaders in Victorian wedding cakes.
Couples come to us from all over the country and our cakes (from our base in South East London) have travelled to Manchester, Newcastle and beyond… We have been commissioned by various TV companies and one of our most amazing Victorian Wedding Cakes to date is soon to appear on a very Victorian drama in March 2016..
