Ombre cake designs are sooooo popular at the moment. In fact, we are working on another beautiful one this week for a wedding at The Langham Hotel in London on Saturday.
As a cake designer and maker the ombre design is a real treat. You do need a very steady eye to create this design to perfection. Don’t be fooled into thinking these designs are just ‘wraps’ of icing.. The graduation of colour as a very delicate process and if you get it wrong the whole look is completely lost. These designs are very very time consuming and thus, this type of cake isn’t cheap!
