Yes, we do EPIC cakes, But, we also do many affordable wedding cakes if you are on a slightly tighter budget.
Or, the cake might just be something you don’t want to break the bank on. Fair enough. We completely get it.
Here are some ideas for budget wedding cakes that will give you the centrepiece and perhaps the height, but not break the wedding budget.
- Fresh flowers – Fresh flowers look absolutely beautiful on a wedding cake and they are a fraction of the cost of sugar flowers. Sugar flowers are made by us, using icing, petal by petal. The time is colossal and essentially, it is our time that you are paying for you. Of course, fresh flowers will still come at a cost from your florist, but nowhere near the cost of us making them by hand. Pictured below is a perfect example at Westerham Golf Club

- Dummy or fake tiers. This can get misinterpreted though so be careful! If dummy tiers are plain then yes, they make for a cheaper option. BUT. If the design of the cake also includes lots and lots of piping and detail and lots of sugar flowers, adding a dummy tier or tier will not reduce the cost. It will increase it!

- Cake Stands – We have some gorgeous cake stands and a pedestal will elevate your wedding cake. So rather than a 5 tier cake placed on the table, use a pedestal to achieve the same height with a three tier cake design.
