This is the wedding cake delivered for Katherine and Kevin for their celebrations at Cooling Castle Barn 2 weeks ago.
This cake was actually a gift. Nadine, who works as part of our team is sister-in-law to Kevin (and now Katherine) and offered her services as talented cake lady extraordinaire! However, being that Hall of Cakes offered a teeny bit of help, I cheekily asked if we could use the images for the blog as I really love this design as it is so different.
Nadine made the sugar flower corsage that was applied to the cake on the day, but before it went out I just couldn’t resist trying out some brighter shades against the greys as well. Not sure what one I like best actually….?!
