This is the the wedding cake we delivered to Leeds Castle on 25 June for the wedding of Susan and Danny.
Susan and Danny were a lovely couple to work with. Completely chilled out (Danny is almost horizontal) so absolutely no stressing, just very happy to leave it in our capable hands.
Susan loved our original Latte Frills design we did at Leeds Castle a couple of years ago for Michelle and Roland and she wanted to use this as a base design, whilst personalised somewhat – oh and adding lots of lovely silver leaf.
Susan and Dannys cake was a multitude of flavours and fillings with their main choice of sponge being our lovely light coffee cake with expresso rum buttercream filling.
We received most wonderful phone call the following day from the happy couple – both of them yelling in the car at the handsfree(!) – gushing with thanks and adoration for their wedding cake.
We very much hope to get some official shots of this one soon, so will perhaps post again soon.
