So, this is the ten tier birthday cake that we designed and created for Billie Faiers for her 30th Birthday Celebrations at Hedsor House last week.
The theme as you would have already seen was Great Gatsby. The colours were already set by the theme, but Billie didn’t want too much black. She wanted lots of cream, white and gold, with lots of feathers. Oh and another requirement – this has to been the best Great Gatsby themed cake that anyone has ever seen.
We spoke to Billie and her manager throughout the design process and also co-odinated with the stylists – Cupid Creative and Bubblegum Balloons. Whilst Billie had said minimal black I did have to persuade her to allow us to use some black, otherwise I thought the cake could be a little lost – especially in the grand entrance hall of Hedsor House.
I am pleased to say that Billie absolutely LOVED it. This is out in OK! Magazine this week…
