Yes, you really can get 40 portions from a single (or bottom) tier.
But, only if it is cut correctly.
Our single (or bottom) tiers are approx 6 inches deep. Firstly you, (or your caterers) will cut your cake horizontally. This will give you two layers of cake. Each layer is then cut into a neat grid of small rectangular portions (rather than wedged shaped slices) As illustrated below.
Practical Questions
Can I have a message on my cake?
Yes of course. You can order one of our Lux Acrylic toppers with your personalised message. Our acrylics are available in black, white, gold or silver. Acrylics are much more stylish than adding piped messages onto cakes. However, if you just want something very short and simple (up to 10 characters) pop it into the comments section when you order and we can pipe it onto the board.
What about Delivery/Collection?
Everything you need to know about Delivery is here. Or, you can collect from us at our Bexley premises. Once you have ordered we will have your collection date. We will also have your contact details to arrange a suitable time with you.
If I order a two tiered cake can I have two separate flavours?
At the moment our system does not allow for this but it’s not a problem, just include a note in the comments section stating your preferences (from the list of flavours provided).
