We are delighted to say that following our recent wedding at the new Raffles in London, we are now confirmed as a wedding cake supplier at Raffles. We are so excited!
Becoming a wedding cake supplier at Raffles is a such good news for us and we are chuffed to bits. Being a bit of a geek for London’s architecture, the renovations at Raffles is something we have been keeping an eye on for a few years. The Old War Offices (as Raffles was previously known) is such a stunning building and we were so excited to hear that it had finally opened its doors last year. The grand staircase is the perfect backdrop for Bride and Groom pics and the stone interiors provide a wonderful contrast between the old and the new.
We hope that being a wedding cake supplier at Raffles will give us the opportunity to work on some amazing centrepiece cakes. No cake is too grand for the Whitehall Ballroom and we hope that over the next few years we are able to place many cakes in the centre of this beautiful room.
If you are looking for ideas or inspiration for your wedding cake at Raffles, just get in touch. Being that the venue is a real mix of old and new, I think that contemporary or traditional will work in the space. it is quite a rarity to say this but for Raffles I genuinely think that either will work. One thing I would advise for certain is height. The cake featured here was six tiers and whilst it didn’t look small, it certainly could have been bigger! But then we love a big cake so I would always say bigger is best!
The photographer for this wedding was Camilla Joy Photography. We have worked with Camilla on various wedding and events over the last few years and she NEVER disappoints. Not only will Camilla provide you with the most beautiful images of your day but she also being such a calming influence by your side. Camilla’s manner is soft and relaxed but despite her calm unflappable nature, she packs a punch when it comes to getting the shots that you want!
