This is the wedding cake we designed and created for Ana and Theresa for their wedding at the The Ritz in London on 31st October.
Ana and Theresa wanted something quirky and different. We have many beautiful wedding cakes on display in the studio but I have to say, most of them are quite traditional…
So, when Ana and Theresa came to see is at the studio, whilst they loved the detail and the workmanship in the designs on display, they were looking for something more eccentric – to befit their personalities!
They showed me an image of a really quirky design – quite similar to the images below – that they had seen, of a really ‘wonky’ cake. Whilst the design was great, it wasn’t going to travel to central London and so we had to come up with something that was equally quirky but, something that would travel a short but bumpy 15 miles…
We feel utterly privileged to deliver to one of the most famous venues in London. The William Kent Room is probably the most palatial dining room in London and is the signature dining room of The Ritz. Extravagance and grandeaur personified…
An absolute pleasure to work for Ana and Theresa and we received the lovelies thank you from them..
Nicola, the cake was absolutely amazing and looked stunning in the room. Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful talking point!!! Theresa Amarawansa and I were very pleased with it and will be devouring the left overs this week! X
