Kent Wedding Suppliers

Having worked in the wedding and events industry for 15 years, we are often asked for recommendations for other suppliers. As you can imagine, in 15 years we have built up a BIG ‘little black book’ of suppliers. Kent wedding suppliers, London and surrounding areas.

We are based in Kent/borders of South East London and thus, historically most of our events have been concentrated in Kent and London. Although, in the last few years we have branched out Nationwide (a wedding in Scotland in 2022 was a particular highlight in 2022!)

For me, for my own wedding day (17 years married tomorrow actually!) it was all about who I was comfortable with. Obviously, the stationery company who made the invitations have been and gone by the time the wedding day arrives so, when choosing our suppliers it was about the people who we – and our friends and family would have to spend the day with. It’s these people that you have to like, be comfortable with and, of course, have a high regard for their work!

Wedding Photographer Kent

If asked for recommendations for a photographer in Kent, my always go to is Danni Beach Photography. I first met Danni about twelve years ago, when she photographed one of our wedding cakes at Hever Castle. I knew of Danni already and I was a little bit star struck by her – she will really laugh at that as Danni is the most down to earth person you could meet! I think I had fringe envy – Danni has always had the most perfectly cut bob of dreams, so initially it was far more about the hair than the photography!!! Anyway.. the pics from that wedding at Hever Castle were just stunning. I can’t say I know loads about photography but over the years I have seen A LOT of wedding pics and the key ingredient for me is ‘natural’. If you are looking for staged, then Danni is not your girl, but if you are looking for a beautifully natural reportage of your day then Danni is the one. She is also very funny and the nicest person you and your guests could spend your day with. Danni doesn’t just cover Kent of course.. Has car will travel…

Wedding Videographer Kent

Founded by Carol Navis and established for over 15 years. Cut Above Productions is where you should be heading for if you are looking for a very experienced videographer in Kent.

After studying and qualifying in videography, Carol very quickly became one of Kent’s top videographers. With increased demand Carol soon recruited Paul Metcalf – a highly experienced sound engineer. Paul also has his own recording studio – which I have visited myself – and can personally say that there isn’t much Paul doesn’t know about videography and sound.

15 years on Cut Above Productions are a team of 4 and highly sought after by Kent and Sussex couples. Capturing the most candid moments of your day with and providing a seamless montage of your day. Carol and Paul are just lovely. Warm and professional but also and most importantly totally unobtrusive. I just wish I new them when I got married!

Wedding Florist Kent

The Flowersmiths. Without question one of Kent’s top wedding florists. Owned by Suzanne with over 30 years experience in floristry. Suzanne is a recommended supplier at Kents top venues – Hever Castle, The Orangery, Winters Barn, Chilston Park… and many more. Suzanne has worked at many of Kents wedding venues for years so to say she knows how to decorate them is an understatement! I think it is SO important for the florist to know your suppliers to know your venue – of course this is obvioius for a videographer and photographer but not always so obvious for a florist. A florist will know the spaces that need filling. They will also know, having worked at those venues how your photographs are going to look and thus know how to create the most impact in the spaces.

Wedding Make up Kent

Samantha Blake at SJB Hair and Makup has a wealth of experience in the beauty industry. Sam is a multi award winning, many times published, luxury hair and makeup artist working in Kent, London, Essex & Surrey. Sam and her team of selected stylists will look after you for Weddings, Parties, Special occasions, Awards ceremonies, Black Tie events, Birthdays, The Races, Boudoir, Photoshoots and so much more.
