Firstly, Happy New Year! Apologies for the silence on the blog in the last month or so but December was crazy busy and thus little time for blogging etc.
Over the Christmas period we did three weddings – one at the Savoy, one locally at restaurant in Bexleyheath and one at Great Fosters in Surrey. We hope to get some images of those weddings on here soon, but in the meantime….
Here are some images – with much thanks to the lovely Dottie at Dottie Photography – of the wedding of Emma & David at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London back in October.
We have been a recommended supplier to the Old Royal Naval College for a number of years now and always love delivering to this venue. So much history… and how ever many times you walk into the famous Painted Hall you just can’t fail to be bowled over.
Emma had a very clear idea of how she wanted her cake and thus there wasn’t too much design involved – but we did make it bigger and better of course! Emma and David’s cake was a multitude of flavours and tastes starting with a beautiful rich fruit cake as the base. This was followed by chocolate, carrot, vanilla, lemon….
We received the loveliest email from Emma…
Nicola, the cake was absolutely amazing. So many people complimented us on it! It looked stunning & tasted amazing ….. well, apparently so! I didn’t get a single piece! Every scrap went – even though we had so much more cake than we needed (they must have loved it..) Although, we have saved the top tier, so looking forward to eating that ;-)
