We often get asked ‘why are you different from other cake companies?’. My answer has a lot to do with design and how we are able to ‘create’ a look or design as opposed to copying one.
When I set up the business 8 years ago it was with a view to doing something a little bit different. In my opinion there were/are so many cake companies and shops out there who stack tiers up and plonk some flowers on top (often factory manufactured flowers) but to me the cakes all look very average. If average is what you are looking for then fine but, we like to go the extra mile and produce cakes that are absolutely stunning.
Whether the cake is a three or four tier understated design or an eight tier extravaganza, we aim for absolute perfection and a level of detail that is incomparable.
We see and get sent sooooooo many cake images, where the cake is wonky, a flower is out of place, a tier is not level… Drives us crazy! Creating perfection takes a lot of expertise and experience and between out team we have in excess of 40 years experience in cake making and sugar craft.
